City International Hospital

From October 2, 2023, the AACI International Accreditation Council visited City International Hospital to conduct a comprehensive assessment of quality and patient safety criteria. After a long period of effort, continuous improvement, and service quality enhancement, on October 22, 2023, CIH was honored to receive certification as “CITY INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL (CIH) IS THE FIRST HOSPITAL IN VIETNAM TO ACHIEVE AACI QUALITY STANDARDS”.

AACI (American Accreditation Commission International) is a reputable and experienced international organization providing consulting, accreditation, and healthcare certification services. AACI conducts independent and objective assessments with quality and patient safety at the center.

AACI first issued its standards in 2014, applying them across many fields and types of healthcare, including hospitals, primary healthcare, dentistry, outpatient medical services, physical therapy, and more. The AACI Standards have been recognized by The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua). Across Southeast Asia, many major hospitals and healthcare facilities have achieved this certification. In Vietnam, City International Hospital is the first hospital to achieve AACI quality standards.

Dr. Ta Thi Thanh Thuy – Medical Director, shared: “Achieving AACI certification is objective proof of serious effort across human resources and operations to meet comprehensive international standards, ensuring the highest quality and safety for patients. Under the direction of the investor and Board of Directors, the hospital regularly organizes training and coaching for staff, strengthens governance and human resources systems, builds and standardizes operating procedures, and upgrades infrastructure and equipment. Alongside training, practical operations, evaluation, compliance monitoring, and periodic review are carried out with a focus on patient safety and improving care quality. We are very pleased that, after a continuous process of effort and improvement, the hospital has achieved AACI certification.”
